Dean Clapson – Managing Director

RPMS is a privately owned business with a base in Wodonga Victoria. Managing Director, Dean Clapson has 23 years’ experience as a qualified horticulturist, having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Horticulture. Over the course of his career he has managed a variety of businesses including a Mango Farm and Horticultural Maintenance business.

Over the course of his 23 year career, Dean has gained extensive expertise in:

  • Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Herbicides & Pest Control
  • Disease Management
  • Soil Fertilisation
  • Plant Propagation
  • Fauna Presevation
  • Garden design and Landscaping
  • Landscaping
  • Watering Systems
  • Paving & Retaining Wall Systems
  • Operating and maintaining plant and equipment
  • Maintaining buildings
  • Undertaking horticultural maintenance i.e. Lawn mowing, weeding, pruning trees, cleaning gutters etc.
  • Work Health and Safety
  • Managed teams both small and large
  • Working effectively as a team, spending some 18 years in the Defence Force (Army)

Of particular mention during Dean’s career, is his time with the Defence Force. Through this experience, Dean has developed an exceptional business acumen. This expertise and dedication has seen him project manage a wide variety of projects undertaken in both public and private spaces.

Capacity

In order to ensure we can effectively service our clients as per the agreed maintenance schedules, we carefully plan and consider our current and potential workload on a daily basis. Our priority is to service our current and future clients to a high standard, without over extending ourselves due to lack of resources.

RPMS maintain close ties with the local community and Albury Wodonga based recruitment agencies and have expansive networks across Victoria, NSW and the ACT to procure additional resources if and when required. This provides our clients with certainty that their maintenance schedule will not be compromised and mitigates the risk of delay caused by reduced resources.
